Official Rules: 2023 Republican Herald Bingo Blast!

The Republican Herald will publish 3 separate Bingo Cards, one each month. Get your official Bingo Cards on Sunday, July 30 for the August game, Sunday, August 27 for the September game, and Sunday, September 24 for the October game.

HOW TO PLAY

  • Get your official August Bingo Card in the Sunday, July 30, 2023 edition of the Republican Herald. Any individual who would like to purchase the July 30 edition of the newspaper may do so at the full single copy price (while supplies last). Reasonable hand-drawn facsimiles will be accepted, however, photocopies will not. Please call 570-628-5985 or stop by our main office at 111 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville during our regular business hours Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  1. Beginning on August 1, 2023, look in the Republican Herald newspaper daily for a specially marked Bingo Blast ad. Each Bingo Blast ad will feature a Bingo number and a daily sponsor. On your card, find the box with the Bingo number matching the one on the Bingo Blast ad. Write the sponsor’s name found on the Bingo Blast ad in the box. Bingo Blast ads will not be in Monday’s edition of the Republican Herald. Gift card winners will be randomly chosen from all eligible entries.
  1. To be eligible for (1) $100 prize randomly selected, include the Bonus Word found at republicanherald.com/contests from August 1, 2023, through August 31. 2023. Only Bingo Cards that include both the daily sponsors and the Bonus Word filled in are eligible for this prize.
  1. Fill out the contact form on the Bingo Card with your name, city/town and daytime phone number.
  1. Drop off or mail your completed Bingo Card to the Republican Herald office at:

ALL AUGUST BINGO CARDS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 4:00 P.M. ON Thursday, September 7, 2023, TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PRIZE DRAWING. NO EXCEPTIONS. The Republican Herald is not responsible for any late or lost Bingo Cards, including those that are mailed.

All ages are welcome to participate in this contest, however, the entrant must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry to be eligible for prizes. This contest is void where prohibited by law.

Winners will be notified by phone and/or email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If the Republican Herald cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

If there is any evidence of tampering with registration or any electronic manipulation of contest outcome, a winner may be chosen at random by Republican Herald contest officials. The Republican Herald reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

All decisions of contest officials are final.

The Republican Herald reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within 30 miles of our main office (111 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, PA) or within our home delivery coverage area.

Employees of the Republican Herald, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. Entrants further grant to the Republican Herald the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the contest.

The Republican Herald reserves the right to use any and all information related to the contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes, or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

The contest and all of the related pages, contents, and code are copyrighted by the Republican Herald. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks, or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited. Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize.

The Republican Herald is not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters, or acts of man or God.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes, they will be disqualified and reported to authorities. The Republican Herald reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
