Day 1 – Depart Scranton & Wilkes Barre at 4:00 pm for a short (1 ½ Hour) ride to the Stewart Airport in Newburgh, NY. Check-in: Norwegian Air (6:00 pm). Depart via Norwegian Air #1764 at 9:00 pm arriving (non-stop) in Shannon, Ireland at 8:15 am.
Day 2 – Welcome to Shannon, Ireland at 8:15 am. After clearing Customs at Shannon Airport, your CIE Tours Driver/Guide will welcome you & escort you to your coach. Drive along the coast of scenic County Clare & visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most beloved, natural landmarks. See magical vistas, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean along Ireland’s Western coastline. Drive to the Tarbert for a ferry ride across the River Shannon. We arrive into the beautiful town of Killarney, our home for the next four nights. Check into your hotel & enjoy some free time before joining your fellow travelers for dinner.
Day 3 – After your Irish breakfast, discover the beauty of the Dingle Peninsula, once described by The National Geographic Traveler as “the most beautiful place on earth”. Drive along the south shore of the peninsula for plenty of vistas of heathery mountains, sandy stretches of beach, stunning green landscapes and rocky headlands. Enjoy the views & take photos. We will also make a stop at the Dingle Brewing Company. Learn about the brewery’s rich and varied past before sampling a pint of this local lager. Return to Killarney for a free evening with dinner on your own.
Day 4 – After your Irish breakfast, take a short ride to Blarney. We visit Blarney Castle to kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence” or explore the tranquil gardens. Treat yourself to quality Irish made goods at Blarney Woolen Mills. Continue back into County Kerry & return to Killarney. Traditional Irish dinner at our hotel.
Day 5 – After a hearty Irish breakfast, enjoy a day at your Leisure in Killarney! This evening
Day 6 – After our Irish breakfast, we check out of our hotel. We will transfer from Killarney to the Shannon Airport. You may do some last minute shopping at the duty-free stores before boarding your flight home. Depart Shannon via Norwegian Airlines #1765 @ 2:20 pm arriving non-stop back at Stewart Airport in Newburgh, NY @ 4:40 pm. Board our Buses home for Scranton & Wilkes Barre with approx. arrival in Scranton at 6:30 pm & Wilkes Barre at 7:00 pm.

Day 01 Wednesday, May 03 Motorcoach from WB & SCR to Newark. Depart Newark to Milan, Italy with UA 19 @ 635 p.m.
Day 02 Thursday, May 04 Morning arrival at Milan’s Malpensa airport @ 0840. After meeting your tour manager transfer with your private deluxe motor coach (3hr.drive) along the glorious Mediterranean Coast with lunch stop en route ( on your own). Continue to Pisa the ancient university town near the mouth of the Arno River with its glorious seafaring past and Galileo’s birthplace. Visit the Piazza dei Miracoli, the Bell Tower known throughout the world as the leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral – one of the most beautiful examples of Italian architecture and the Baptistery. Continue for a leisurely drive to Montecatini -Terme. Welcome dinner at your hotel.
Day 03 Friday, May 05 Morning excursion to Florence – the “Cradle of the Renaissance”. Your guided city tour includes entrance to the Academia featuring Michelangelo’s original David, the Cathedral with its immense cupola by Brunelleschi, the Bell Tower by Giotto, the “Door of Paradise” by Ghiberti, Cellini’s Perseus and Neptune Fountain. Afterwards time to shop and explore this great city on your own. Dinner in your hotel.
Day 04 Saturday, May 06 Full day excursion to Siena, a perfectly preserved medieval city with many signs of its greatness. See the world renowned shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Pubblico with its tall slender Mangia Tower, the Piazza del Duomo and the tall marble Cathedral, one of the most remarkable example of Italian Gothic architecture. Continue to San Gimignano, a charming medieval town perched on a hilltop in the heart of Tuscany. Day 05 Sunday, May 07 Early morning departure to the eternal city of Rome built on 7 hills in the middle of an undulating plain. The marble city was created by Augustus and, according to legend, was founded by Romulus in 753 B.C. and by many considered the cradle of Western Civilization and the heart of Catholicism. Upon arrival enjoy a guided panorama city tour including the Colosseum, the Monument of Victor Emanuel, the Forum and other historical highlights. Dinner in your hotel.
Day 06 Monday, May 08 Morning transfer for a guided tour to the Vatican Museum, a group of impressive edifices with hundreds of rooms, halls, galleries, libraries and chapels overflowing with art treasures; the most beautiful of which is the overwhelming Sistine Chapel – seat of the Conclave for the election of the Pope and Michelangelo’s masterpiece. Afterwards visit St.Peter’s Basilica with Michelangelo’s Pieta. Remainder of the day at leisure for individual activities. Dinner on your own.
Day 07 Tuesday, May 09 Day at leisure for individual activities or additional touring. Farewell dinner in a local ristorante.
Day 08 Wednesday, May 10 Morning transfer to Rome airport for UA 41 flight departing @ 0955 for Newark. Motorcoach return from Newark to WB & SCR.
